Easy, Beginner, Relaxing Available June thru AugustWhite Cloud‘s float trip packs in all the river's scenic beauty and fun without the rapids. This Idaho river float trip offers a smooth and easy ride down a section of the river with an occasional riffle or swell but no major rapids. We use an oar boat for this trip so your guide can do all the maneuvering. You’re free to relax and enjoy the unique environment and natural history of the Salmon River and the surrounding Sawtooth Wilderness Area. There are still plenty of opportunities to get wet: Start an impromptu water fight or take a dip in the river. This trip is ideal for non-swimmers, families with young children, and apprehensive guests.
