Nice fish Ben!!!!!!!  Local Headerwaters Fly-Fishing Guide Ben Hurd has taken first place in the Steelhead Derby with this trophy trout.  His fished measured 32 inches and weight in at 12.25 pounds, and was taken on his five weight fly rod.   Currently there are twenty-five places, with the first five slots paying out.  Temperatures in the Sawtooth Valley continue to rise, pushing more Steelhead up the Salmon River.  The other Headwaters guides have been jokingly saying they are going to give Ben a run for his money, but he hasn’t seem too worried.  Stay posted to see the final results of Stanley, id Steelhead Derby.    Summers on its way, book a now and secure your opportunity to fly fish the headwaters of the Salmon River.  We are locate just one hour from Sun Valley, Ketchum Idaho.
